Welcome to ASGA. If you’re involved in Student Government, you’ve come to the right place.
Whether you’re a student officer, advisor, or administrator, ASGA exists for one reason: to help Student Governments become more effective, influential, and successful.
We founded ASGA in 2003 because no organization focused exclusively on Student Government. Today, nearly 1,000 institutions rely on ASGA for research, training, networking, and practical solutions.
I’ve spent more than four decades working with Student Governments nationwide. These years taught me that most SGs face the same problems: low voter turnout, administrators who don’t take them seriously, members who show up inconsistently, terms that end before real progress gets made. ASGA exists to help you solve those problems — not with generic leadership advice, but with research, tools, and expertise built entirely around Student Government.
We’ve trained more than 50,000 students and advisors at 11 conferences across the country. We’ve studied Student Governments at every type of institution in America. That experience is what you get access to when you join.
