Every month, ASGA honors exceptional Student Governments, Presidents, and Advisors from across the nation. These awards celebrate the people and organizations making a real difference on their campuses. Any member institution is eligible to nominate.

Merrimack CollegeThe Merrimack College Student Government Association is recognized for its commitment to effective student representation, leadership development, and continuous organizational improvement. Through active advocacy, support of a vibrant community of student organizations, and a focus on strengthening communication and accountability, this SGA has demonstrated a dedication to serving the student body. Their engagement in leadership development and willingness to embrace new ideas exemplify the values of a strong and forward-thinking student government. |
SG President of the Month
Emma DaveyGonzaga University Emma Davey has demonstrated a strong commitment to student leadership by rising through the ranks of the Gonzaga Student Body Association (GSBA) before being elected president for the 2026–2027 academic year. Her journey from joining as a freshman representative and to now leading the organization as a senior reflects her dedication to serving students and fostering meaningful campus engagement. Throughout her campaign, she emphasized transparency, accessibility, and creativity, highlighting her desire to create a student government that is approachable and responsive to the needs of the student body. Emma has balanced her studies in Political Science with student government, internships, and other responsibilities while continuing to do well academically. This reflects the work ethic and commitment needed to be an effective student leader. |
SG Advisor of the Month
Bianca RomeroBay Path University Bianca Romero has dedicated her career to developing student leaders and fostering meaningful campus engagement at Bay Path University. A Bay Path alumna and former Student Government Association president, she has continued to serve the university in professional leadership roles, where she advises student government, supports residence life, and creates opportunities for students to grow both personally and professionally. Her journey from student leader to higher education administrator reflects her long-standing commitment to servant leadership and mentorship. Through her work, Romero has helped cultivate an inclusive campus community while encouraging students to become engaged, confident leaders. Her impact on student success and leadership development has also been recognized beyond campus, including being named one of BusinessWest’s 40 Under Forty. |
